I had thought about dual chain bikes when I designed this and truthfully it wouldn't take much to redesign it as such. Problem is that we just haven't had the time to work on it period.

Details:

9" rear travel
high single pivot with large wheelbase growth for square edge hits
neutral chain pulley at pivot to fight pedal bob
64.5 deg headtube angle

The frame was designed in 2007. We started prototyping in carbon fiber, but it has never been completed.

Cant win em all, thats why were moving our powdercoating in-house, so we can paint frames to-order with as many color options as we want.

Next gen has microdrops, tapered stays, and should shave at least a couple ounces.

Gonzo and blaq are sister companies, pretty much the same guys behind the two of them. Weve been working on a number of things for a while now, the bags mostly, but since we met that welder things are coming together on the frame end. It all takes a ton of time haha

4130 cromoly it is.

Were looking to have frames on our site this year, and later completes. Were going to work with shops on a fairly individual basis, but yes, we plan to have all of our gear in shops over the next year.

Were shooting to have a line up of frames out in a few months, with a ton of color options.

Solid bmx in cali did this run for us.

In a few months were rolling out a line up of frames that a local framebuilder and friend of mine is welding. Were also doing our own powdercoating, so the color options will be vast.

Well, the final version will use 4130 cromoly instead of lines, so its going to be plenty strong.

I'm starting to understand how, but I can't put together why. Seems like a complex linkage that cold be simpler. Props anyways. Is that SolidWorks?

No I'm afraid its not Kent. It is Florida where our pro-rider Bryan lives. I wish Kent had a skatepark like that. Alas, we have the uber-weak Ravenna park and Akron, but both get packed on nice days.

Ours is a little more oriented toward street and park. Shorter chainstays and a steeper headtube angle. Super quick handling and easy to manual.

I'm not sure I completely understand. The way I do it is just extend the smaller tube into the bigger tube - for example the seat tube extends into the bottom bracket shell just a little (when the BB is still solid). Then I make the extruded cut for the hole in the BB shell (and choose through all for the cut) and it automatically cuts through the seat tube also. No need to ever miter it this way. Also, the seatstays just extend into the inside of the toptube. They aren't mitered at all. You just have to make sure they don't poke out the other side. Let me know if this helps.

I'm no SolidWorks wizard. I had to learn on my own (from the help files) and know just enough to get by.
